A narrativa transmídia como ação social para a construção de uma memória democrática

This article aims to reflect how transmedia narratives seek to collectivize the ownership and power of the media for the construction of a more just and democratic historical memory. Far from being faced with a collaborative project for commercial purposes, some productions –such as the case of Vencidxs (Spain)– propose a process of social activism from the discourse of historical memory to critical and political idea of transmedia. For that reason the objective will be to conceive this form of audiovisual narrative as a political action focused on generating different stories, new media convergences and others critical spaces for common understanding about our own social history. Thus, the construction of a truly democratic historical memory will depend on these new cultural ways of narrating.
